The Reserve Bank of India on Tuesday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 67.7060 besides the USD and 75.9323 for the euro.
These rates were 67.3492 and 75.6197 respectively from Monday.
As per the RBI statement, "the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 98.0654 and 61.97 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon."
Statement further added, "The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate,"
