Kanpur: The auction process of IPL 2021 started on Thursday. This time the most expensive player in the auction was Chris Morris, who was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 16.25 crore. However other teams also bid on expensive players. But the team that bought the most expensive player in the IPL auction has become Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Royal Challengers Bangalore bought two players for more than 14 crores in the 2021 IPL auction. It features Kyle Jamieson and Glenn Maxwell. Jamieson was bought by RCB for Rs 15 crore, while Maxwell was bought for Rs 14.25 crore. With this, the number of players who paid more than 14 crores in IPL history has increased to 3 in RCB's account. Earlier in 2014, Bangalore bought Yuvraj Singh for Rs 14 crore.
