New Delhi: A strange incident occurred with two voters at the polling station at Senior Secondary School, Nebasarai in Chhatarpur Assembly constituency. When Mithilesh (Vote No-72) and another one came to vote at the polling station and scanned the QR code of the voter list, it was revealed that both had voted, while they had neither voted nor in the list, there was a mark of casting votes in front of their names.

According to the information received, both the voters started creating uproar. Polling station sector officer was called. Both the voters went to the polling station after casting their votes. After this, the polling officials said that their counting of voters will be spoiled. Officials stationed at the polling station said that this was happening due to a server malfunction. The data of the voters whose identity cards were being scanned was not going from mobile to server. Apart from this, papers were being scanned at two places in this polling station.

One was being scanned outside the polling booth, the other was being scanned inside the booth. There were long lines of voters being scanned twice. Sumitra Sharma, who lives in the Deoli assembly constituency, had reached the polling station in Sona School to vote with her husband. Here she came to know that her name is in the ASD (does not live in his house) list, after which he did not let him cast his vote. It is also being said that she left from there without casting a vote, while her husband had voted. At the same time, Devranjan went without casting his vote in the Aruna Asif Ali Government Girls School of Tughlakabad Assembly constituency. Devranjan said that it was quarter to three hours.
