Real Madrid has temporarily halted concerts at the newly renovated Santiago Bernabeu Stadium following complaints from local residents regarding excessive noise. The club announced that three concerts by Spanish pop artists, initially scheduled for November, will now take place in December. Additionally, the South Korean music festival, Music Bank, originally set for October 12, has been cancelled altogether.

This decision comes after several reports from local media highlighted residents’ frustrations over noise levels from stadium events reaching their homes. While the Santiago Bernabeu is known for hosting Real Madrid's football matches, it has also become a popular venue for concerts featuring international stars, including Taylor Swift's highly anticipated performance in May. However, the recent noise complaints have forced Madrid to pause all concerts at the venue.

Restrictions on Future Events

According to reports from Marca, concerts at the Santiago Bernabeu will be suspended until at least March of next year. The decision follows multiple legal disputes and mounting pressure from the Madrid city council, which has ordered Real Madrid to take significant steps to address the noise issue.

Going forward, any concerts held at the stadium must finish by 11:00 PM local time to comply with new municipal regulations. As a result, the club has already canceled four upcoming concerts that were due to take place in the coming months.

In a statement, Real Madrid confirmed that the concert suspension is part of a broader effort to comply with local noise regulations. "This decision forms part of a group of measures taken by the club to ensure that the municipal regulations are strictly complied with during concerts," the club said.
