1.5 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
0.5 tsp salt
200 grams sugar
1 cup buttermilk (or mix 1 cup milk and 1 tbsp vinegar)
0.5 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp red food gel colour or any edible red colour
0.5 tsp vinegar


Ingredients for Cream Cheese Frosting:

1 packet Britannia cream cheese (or any 180g cream cheese)
130 g unsalted butter
200 grams icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 tbsp sugar syrup (mix 2 tbsp sugar with 2 tbsp water)


How to make the cake- First put a cup of salt in a large cooker and put it on the gas to heat, take out the whistle and rubber of the cooker and put a mesh stand in the cooker and heat the cooker for 10 minutes. Now after this mix salt, cocoa powder, baking powder in the maida and keep it aside. Now in a large bowl add buttermilk, sugar, oil, vanilla essence and beat it well. After this mix the colour and mix it once more. After this, slowly pour the maida mixture in two-three times and mix it with the help of a spoon. After that add vinegar and beat it once. Now grease an 8-inch cake pan with oil or grease it with butter paper. After this, put the cake mixture in the pan, put it in the cooker, close the lid and cook for 35-40 minutes or check if the toothpick comes out clean if the cake is not cooked, then cook it for a while, or Then pre-heat the oven and cook it at 180 C for 35-40 minutes. Now take it out and let it cool down a bit, then take out the cake from the pan with the help of a knife. Finally, after cooling, put it in a box or in a cover and keep it in the fridge, keep the cake in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours before icing.


To make Cream Cheese Icing- First of all, take out the butter and cream cheese from the fridge half an hour before. Now put butter in a bowl and beat till it becomes light and soft. After this, beat the cream cheese in another bowl for 1 minute. Now add cream cheese to the whipped butter and beat for 1 minute, then add vanilla essence, filter the icing sugar and then mix it 2-3 times and mix it well. After this beat for another 1-2 minutes. Put the icing in the fridge for 1 hour. Now take out the cake and cut its top layer and make powder or put it in a mixer and make it into a powder. Now cut two or three layers from the cake and keep it. After this, spread a tablespoon of sugar syrup on top of one layer, then spread the icing, put the second layer on top of it and apply sugar syrup, then cover all the sides with icing. Now keep it in the fridge for half an hour. After about half an hour, make a layer again with the remaining icing. Now sprinkle the cake powder on all sides and keep the cake in the fridge for half an hour and let it set, after half an hour cut the pieces of the cake and serve.
