Bhopal: The Central government is taking all the necessary decisions to increase the income of farmers in India and to overcome their plight. In a step-by-step with the central government, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government of the MP is also taking all the necessary decisions according to its capacity to increase the income of the farmers, so that the situation of the farmers can be changed. In this regard, the registration process for procurement of wheat, gram, masoor and mustard crops at support price is being initiated in MP from today. The MP's CM's office has reported this on its official Twitter account quoting CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Mp CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to all the farmers of the state to go to their nearest registration centre and register and get the benefit of support price on the sale of their crops. At the same time, the CM has urged the farmers to follow the corona-friendly behaviour when they come to the registration centre to register, keeping in mind the corona epidemic. The CM has urged the farmers who have reached the registration centre to follow social distancing and wear masks.

Last month, the Madhya Pradesh government had also extended the date of paddy procurement to provide the full benefit of the support price to the farmers. The state government had fixed a time period from November 29, 2021, to January 15, 2022, to purchase paddy from farmers at MSP. But later, the government had extended the deadline from January 15 to January 20, 2022, so that more and more crops of the farmers could be sold and their income could be increased.
