Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance (HPCET) Test registrations have unfolded from March 2. The exam will be conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU), Hamirpur.

HPCET is been conducted for the students interested in pursuing the course of Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), BPharm (Ayurveda), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Technology (MTech) and Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) for 2017-18 programme.

Interested students are required to register before April 20. The exam is scheduled on May 13.

Who will be eligible for the same?

• MCA / MBA: The candidates need to hold a Degree of Bachelor in the relevant courses from a recognised university with 50% minimum.
• BTech: The students interested in pursuing BTech must have passed Senior Secondary 10+2 from a recognised university with physics and mathematics as a compulsory subject along with one of these subjects: chemistry/biotechnology/biology/technical vocational subject.
• MTech: All the candidates interested in applying for this course must have done Bachelor course in engineering technology from a recognised university with 50% minimum.
