Hyderabad : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the dates for Session 1 of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2022 because the previous dates clashed with Board Exam dates for numerous candidates.

The new exam dates are April 21, 24, 25, 29, and May 1 and 4, according to a notice published by the NTA on Monday. Previously, the exam was slated to take place from April 16 to April 21.

"Representations have been received from applicants requesting a change in the dates of JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1 due to the clashing of their Board Exam dates with the JEE (Main) - 2022 Session 1. The National Testing Agency has decided to rearrange the dates of JEE (Main) - 2022 Session 1 due to persistent demand from the student community and their support, according to the announcement.

During the second week of April, candidates will be able to download their exam admission cards. For the most recent updates, candidates can consult the official NTA websites at www.nta.ac.in and https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/.
