Dehradun: Every day the growing anger about the increasing promotion is creating a feeling of change in the people. Amidst warning of an indefinite strike from March 2, 2020, to demand the lifting of the ban on promotions, the state government has opened the doors for talks with the officials of the employees' organizations. To break the deadlock, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has fielded Urban Development Minister Madan Kaushik where Kaushik has called the office bearers of the employees' organizations for talks in the Vidhan Sabha Bhavan today. The Department of Personnel has issued a letter in this regard. In the meeting, an invitation has been sent to the President and General Secretary of the Uttarakhand Secretariat Union and State Joint Staff Council and the Chief Convenor and Secretary Convenor of Uttarakhand Adhikari Karmachari Manch Manch. All these officials are also included in the High Power Convenor Board of Uttarakhand General OBC Employees Association, which is leading the movement against reservation in promotion.

Instructions for secretaries to appear: It is also being said that secretaries of Finance, Personnel, Medical Health, State Property, Sainik Welfare, and Gopan Department have been asked to be present in a meeting with office-bearers of employees' organizations. The information has been sent by sending a letter to all secretaries on behalf of the Personnel Department.
