Srinagar: As the authorities imposed restrictions and the separatist sponsored strike for maintaining law and order, which disrupted normal life in Kashmir Valley for the 69th consecutive day.

According to a police official, "restrictions have been imposed on movement and assembly of people in all parts of the Valley, except the Civil Lines area of Srinagar city ".

Even as arial surveillance using drones and helicopters continued, though at vulnerable places in the Valley, security forces have been deployed in strength.

The protests and shutdown in valley witnesses since July 9, following the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani.
