Rio De Janeiro: At the 2016 Rio Paralympics, Javelin thrower of India Devendra Jhajharia enhanced his own world record to win gold in the men's javelin throw F46 event.

Firstly, with a record throw of 62.15 metres, Devendra won gold in the javelin event at the 2004 Athens Paralympics, becoming only the second gold medallist at the Paralympics for India, and bettered upon it with an attempt of 63.97 metres at the Olympic Stadium (Engenhao) here on Tuesday.

Currently, the 36-year-old smashed the record and ranked himself third in the world.
