New Delhi: Robert Vadra, the husband of Congress National Secretary-General Priyanka Gandhi, has filed an application for foreign travel in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court. This is the second application after the court granted anticipatory bail to Robert Vadra. On being granted bail, the same court had made a condition for taking the permission of the court before the visit.

It is noteworthy that Robert Vadra is facing a CBI investigation in the money laundering case. Vadra is accused of being the beneficial owner of the property in London. Robert Vadra wants to go to Spain on a business trip, that's why he has filed an application for permission to go abroad from the court. The case related to the purchase of land of Bikaner Kolayat of Rajasthan was heard in a Jodhpur court last month. The case relates to Robert Vadra, the husband of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and her mother-in-law Maureen Vadra.

In this case, a petition was filed in the court on behalf of Jodhpur Sky Light Hospitality, on which the last hearing was held on Thursday (22 August). During the hearing of this case in Justice GR Moolchandani's court, Robert Vadra's lawyer has sought time from the court. However, Additional Solicitor General RD Rastogi has expressed strong opposition to this. Now the court has set 12 September as the next date for this case.
