New Delhi: Team India batsman Robin Uthappa has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. He has given information in this regard through tweets. He tweeted and wrote, 'It has been a great honour for me to represent my country and my state Karnataka. However, all good things must come to an end, and with a grateful heart, I have decided to retire from all forms of Indian cricket. Thanks to all of you.'

Robin Uthappa further wrote 'It has been 20 years since I started playing professional cricket and it has been the greatest honour to represent my country and state, Karnataka, an amazing journey full of ups and downs; One that has been satisfying, rewarding and enjoyable and allowed me to grow as a human being.'

He further wrote 'However, all good things must come to an end, and with a grateful heart, I have decided to retire from all forms of Indian cricket. While I will spend a significant amount of time with my young family, I look forward to talking about a new phase in my life.' Let us tell you that Uthappa's career started with the 50-over format, he made his debut against England in Guwahati. During this, he played 46 ODI matches and scored a total of 934 runs in which 86 was his highest score.
