New Delhi: Team India captain Rohit Sharma left the practice session midway a day before the final match of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23. In fact, the captain of the Indian team injured his left thumb during practice, after which a tape appeared on his thumb. As a precaution, Rohit left the practice session midway. 

Let us tell you that the title match of WTC is to be played between India and Australia at The Oval ground in London from 7th June. Both India and Australia are going to give their lives to win this title. Let us tell you that India has not won any ICC trophy since 2013 and Rohit would definitely like to end this drought. Both India and Australia have been practicing fiercely at The Oval ground in London for 3 consecutive days.

Notable that, this is the second edition of WTC, the first edition was played in 2019-2021, where the final match took place between India and New Zealand. India has reached the final of WTC for the second time in a row. Today was an optional training session for India, during which Captain Rohit also got information about the pitch. The biggest question before Team India before the WTC final match is whether Team India will field R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja together in the playing XI?
