New Delhi: The 14th (IPL 2021) edition of the Indian Premier League begins tomorrow, April 9. The first match of the season will be between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. RCB captain Virat Kohli has already made it clear that he will start the innings in IPL 2021. In the opening match against Mumbai, he will start the innings with young batsman Devdutt Padikkal. Padikkal was infected with corona a few days ago, but he is fully fit and has joined the team before the match against Mumbai. Young batsman Mohammad Azharuddin can be dropped at number three.

Ab de Villiers at number four and Glenn Maxwell at fifth are certain to play. Both these batsmen are determined to lead the team to victory on their own. Australian all-rounder Daniel Cristian can then be dropped to number six. RCB bought them at the IPL 2021 auction for a hefty sum.
