Movie maker SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' has been sitting in theatres in Japan since October last year. This movie is working to set new records here every day. At the same time, the film has crossed another milestone and has become the first Indian movie to register more than 1 million footfalls in Japan. Released on 209 screens and 31 IMAX screens in 44 cities and prefectures of Japan, 'RRR' has also become the highest-grossing Indian movie in the country.

Makers gave information on the official Twitter handle: On the official Twitter handle of the RRR' movie, the makers have shared that the movie has registered 1 million footfalls in 164 days of its theatre run. The post read, "RRR Movie records 1 million footfalls in 164 days and continues its rocking run."

 

Rajamouli thanked the audience from Japan: The news says that Rajamouli thanked the Twitter audience in Japan on Tuesday for their love. He tweeted, "1 million hugs from Japanese fans... Arigato Gujaimasu #RRRInJapan."
