Lucknow: The first Sainik School run by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will start in April this year in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh. Rajju Bhaiyya is the first of its kind school run by Sainik School Association named Sainik Vidya Mandir (RBSVM). Rajju Bhaiyya was the former head of the union. According to a senior Sangh leader, the school building is almost built and applications for the first batch of 160 children in class six have started coming to the school.
Col. Shiv Pratap Singh, director of RBSVM said, "We will prepare the students for the technology exams of NDA, Naval Academy and Indian Army. Registration will continue till February 23. Its entrance examination will be on March 1. We will give students reasoning, Will take general knowledge, maths and English ability test. After written test, interview will be taken and after that there will be medical test. We will be from April 6 Will start the session. "
Eight seats have been reserved for the children of personnel killed in the war. Age relaxation is also provided for the martyrs' dependents. The school does not have any reservation of any kind and will run CBSE syllabus. The school has also started the recruitment process of teachers and administrative staff, which will be completed by the end of February.
