World No. 7 tennis player Andrey Rublev believes that Rafael Nadal is said to be the mentally strongest player in the history of the game. Praising Nadal's 2022 Australian Open final victory, he said it is going to be of special importance in his playing life. Nadal made a comeback after trailing 0-2 in the set to beat Medvedev in the final. It was also Nadal's 21st Grand Slam title. This is the only time Nadal has lost the first two sets to claim a Major title.

Nadal and Rublev are currently in action at the 2022 Indian Wells Masters, where they are also scheduled to meet in the final. Rublev, while talking about Nadal, said that no athlete in the history of the sport is as mentally strong as Rafa.

In a personal game, you are going to struggle a lot mentally. If you fight with someone close to you on the morning of the match, you get upset, but you still need to play. Rafa doesn't care what's happening off the court.
