Friday; July 22, 2016:Rupee is depreciated by 3 paise at 67.20 against the US dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market.
As per the dealers said,“Besides, strength in dollar against some other currencies overseas also weighed on the rupee but a higher opening in the domestic equity market capped the fall”
On Thursday; Rupee had ended slightly upper by 3 paise at 67.17 on mild dollar selling by banks and exporters.
However, the benchmark BSE Sensex improved by 53.67 points or 0.19 % to 27,764.19 in early trade today.
