MOSCOW – The first meeting of a Russian parliamentary panel was held on Thursday, with the announcement of the formation of four working groups to probe alleged US-controlled biological laboratories in Ukraine.

The Russian State Duma, or lower house of the country's Federal Assembly, stated in a statement that the commission heard information from the Russian Defense Ministry on the probe into biological research by American professionals in Ukraine.

The harmful biological operations of the United States on the territory of Ukraine were uncovered during Russia's special military operation, according to Irina Yarovaya, co-chair of the commission and deputy chairwoman of the State Duma, as quoted by Xinhua news.

"Both Russia and Ukraine are in grave danger. We're talking about covert operations overseen by the US Department of Defense, with evidence of biological weapons research "she stated

the four working groups will perform a full review of all papers and data, including at the expert level, a  senior lawmaker said.

"Today, the commission authorised the working groups on defence, security, and international law to begin working on documents on Hunter Biden's role in the Ukraine project, as well as an invitation for explanations from him and Victoria Nuland," Yarovaya said.
