Russian President Putin declares Armenia-Azerbaijan ceasefire as Trump fails

Moscow: Russia has stepped up its efforts to stop the ongoing war between Armenia and Azerbaijan since September 27. President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia's meddling has reached a consensus on peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He also said that Russian peacekeeper forces will be deployed in the area to maintain the peace order in the war-torn region of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Russian President has also said that he hopes that the agreement will impose the necessary conditions for a long permanent and full ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh area. Armenia and Azerbaijan have also ratified the agreement in this regard. Then, it is reported that the end of the war for 44 days has now come to a close.

After Russia's mediaity, Armenian Prime Minister Nicolas Pashiyan made a major announcement on social media on Tuesday that he had a peace agreement with Azerbaijan in collaboration with Russia. Shortly thereafter, Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev also confirmed the agreement. Araek Harutuyan, leader of the Nagorno-Karabakh region, also declared that he had signed an agreement for peace.
