As the Russia-Ukraine conflict approaches its twentieth day, a curfew has been reimposed on Kyiv.  Kyiv has imposed a new curfew from 8 p.m. (Local Time) on March 15 until 7 a.m. on March 17, as the Russia-Ukraine war enters its twentieth day, according to Ukrainian local media.

According to the Ukrainian news outlet The Kyiv Independent, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, citizens are only allowed to go outdoors to go to the bomb shelters. Meanwhile, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, who assured Kuleba that Tel Aviv would not be used by Moscow to circumvent sanctions.

Kuleba expressed his gratitude to Israel for its mediation efforts and humanitarian assistance. "We talked about how to put an end to the conflict in Ukraine. The rights of Ukrainians arriving in Israel will be respected, it was agreed "Kuleba said in a tweet.

Earlier on Monday, Lapid and his Slovakian counterpart Ivan Korcok held a joint press conference in Bratislava, Slovakia, to criticise Russia's military offensive as illegitimate. According to The Times of Israel, Lapid stated that Israel is striving to ensure that the country's financial institutions do not facilitate the circumvention of crushing sanctions placed on Russia as a result of its invasion of Ukraine.

The special operation is only targeting Ukrainian military facilities, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, and the civilian population is not in risk. Moscow has stated numerous times that it has no plans to conquer Ukraine. Russia has been subjected to a slew of sanctions imposed by Western countries.
