On one hand, there are protests in some parts of the world, including America, in protest against the death of George Floyd. On the other hand, the world's greatest batsman Sachin Tendulkar has recalled the words of former South African President Nelson Mandela. Sachin Tendulkar tweeted a video tagging the ICC, which is of the final match of the World Cup-2019. In this, England fast bowler Jofra Archer is seen bowling.

Sachin wrote with the video, "Nelson Mandela said, sports have the power to change the world. It has the power to unify the world in a way that few people do. Words of wisdom." Floyd died in Minneapolis. A white police officer held his neck with his knee which caused difficulty in breathing and he died. Protests are continuing across the country after Floyd's death.

Floyd was born in North Carolina and grew up in Houston and was a popular athlete at Jack Yates High School. He then moved to Minneapolis in 2014, but his family, including his two daughters, are still living here in Houston.
