The Secretariat, which is locked in lockdown on the COVID 19 pandemic, may open today (Friday). With this only the secretaries and above officers will have to come to the secretariat. State government ministers will also start sitting in the assembly. For your information, let us tell you that these decisions were taken on Thursday in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.

There was a discussion on the new guideline of the Union Home Ministry regarding the lockdown two. At the same time, the cabinet decided to open the secretariat. It was decided that the work of the secretariat will start from Friday. But only the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Secretary in charge, Secretary, Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary and Chief Secretary will come to the Secretariat.
 

Currently Section Officer and Review Officer and lower staff may have to work from home. Only 33 percent staff of departments related to essential services like electricity, water, health, food supply will come to the secretariat. At present, this arrangement will be done by May 3. After that the government will also consider opening directorates. From Friday, the state government ministers will also sit in the assembly. Cabinet approves the proposal for ministers to sit in the assembly. Along with the ministers, their staff will also have to come to office.
