World Day for Safety and Health at Work is celebrated on April 28, 2020, across the world. 'World Day for Safety and Health at Work' is celebrated every year to draw people's attention to the accidents and diseases that occur in the midst of work across the world. Objective: The International Trade Organisation (ILO) announced to celebrate the day. It has been celebrated since 2003, with the aim of providing safety and other health facilities to the employees working at the workplace. The ILO joined it in 2003 at the request of trade unions. This campaign by ILO is necessary to make the governments aware of the problems of workers all over the world and for better measures and facilities for their safety.
