Shajapur: The Shajapur district administration of Madhya Pradesh has sealed two offices of Sahara India Company. The action has been taken under the directions of the District Magistrate. The company had deposited lakhs of rupees in the name of doubling the amount from many persons in the district. But when the time came for payment, Sahara India refused to give the money saying that there was no fund.

According to the information received, thousands of persons from the district had invested in Sahara India. The company's policy was taken. Even years after the maturity of the policy was completed, the company did not repay the money. The victims were constantly complaining in public hearings. On this, Shajapur District Magistrate Dinesh Jain had sent notices to the officials of the company several times seeking information and instructed them to return the amount. Failing to comply with the directions, the District Magistrate directed Shajapur and Shujalpur tahsildars to seal the office of the company. The district administration has sealed two offices of Sahara India Company. First, the office of Shujalpur and then at Shajapur was sealed.
