Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party (SP) has released another list of candidates for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. The SP on Tuesday announced the names of candidates for 10 seats, including Lucknow Cantt. Raju Gandhi has been fielded by the party from Lucknow Cantt. With this, Tahir has been fielded from Sultanpur. Shyam Sundar has been fielded from Raiberli.
According to the list of 159 candidates released by the party earlier, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is contesting from the Karhal assembly seat. The name of jailed SP MP Azam Khan is also included in the list. The SP has given the ticket to Dharam Singh Saini from Nakur seat of Saharanpur. Dharam Singh Saini has recently left the BJP and joined the SP. Dharam Singh Saini was a minister in the UP cabinet. Sanjay Garg from Saharanpur Nagar and Ashu Malik from Saharanpur Dehat have been fielded.
The assembly elections are proposed in February in UP. The Samajwadi Party (SP) has put in all its might for the elections. The party is constantly announcing candidates. Polling for 403 assembly constituencies in UP will begin in seven phases from February 10. Polling in UP will be held in seven phases on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27 and March 3 and 7. The results will come out on March 10.
