Lucknow: The political mercury has heated up after the body of a Dalit girl, who had been missing for two months, was found in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao. The girl's mother was a former minister of state and chairman of the cooperative department. Fateh Bahadur's son Raju Singh was accused of molesting her daughter. According to sources, the post-mortem report has revealed that the girl died due to strangulation. At the same time, the neck bone was also found broken, along with two injury marks in the head. A panel of three doctors conducted the post-mortem of the deceased.
The girl's mother had been worried for several days for justice. Pooja, daughter of Dalit woman Reeta, a resident of Kanshiram area, has been missing since December last year and a missing report was lodged. The mother was a former minister of state of the SP and chairman of the cooperative department. Fateh Bahadur's son Raju Singh was accused of molesting the Dalit daughter. The police did not take the matter seriously. The distraught mother kept pleading for justice at the officers' door, but no one listened. On January 24, the mother jumped in front of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav's car in Lucknow.
After which the police arrested Rajol Singh on January 25 and sent him to jail, however, the girl could not be traced. On February 4, the police took Rajol Singh on PCR remand and interrogated him, but without success. Today, the police came to know on the basis of all the evidence that the body of the young woman was buried next to the house of Kabba Khera. On this, all the policemen of Sadar Kotwali police SWAT team reached the spot and dug and recovered the body after digging a 4 feet pit.
