Samajwadi Party veteran Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away

Lucknow: Former MLC Mulayam Singh Yadav, a stalwart of Samajwadi Party (SP) in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, has died at 9 pm on Saturday. The 92-year-old Mulayam breathed his last at Kadhore Ka Purwa in his native village, Kakor. Mulayam was a three-time member of the Legislative Council from the Local Body Constituency and earlier also the block head of Bhagya Nagar, the development block of Auraiya.

Mulayam Singh Yadav, originally a resident of Kadore Ka Purwa village, near Kasba Kakor, has been very close to Samajwadi Party founder and former UP CM Mulayam Singh Yadav. The news of his death triggered a wave of mourning in the Samajwadi Party. On Sunday, a large crowd of socialist activists and others gathered in the village for his last visit.

SP district president Rajveer Singh Yadav, former MLA Pradeep Yadav, Indrapal Singh Pal, former district president Ashok Yadav, former principal Dr. Ajab Singh Yadav, former Block Chief Vinay Yadav, Vaikunth Yadav etc. reached the village and paid tribute to the late leader Mulayam. His grandson Gaurav Yadav told the media that recently he had returned home from the Regency Hospital in Kanpur with health benefits.
