Raipur: Serious criminal offences like rape have also been made a political issue by political parties. Chhattisgarh Minister Shivkumar Dharia has likened the gang rape incident in Hathras to the gang rape in Balrampur in Chhattisgarh and said that our incident is small. He was attacking former CM Raman Singh of Chhattisgarh and in the meantime he made this statement.

Shivkumar Dharia said, "A major incident took place in Hathras. Why is Raman Singh tweeting at that? A small incident took place in Balrampur. He is not doing anything except criticizing Chhattisgarh. After the uproar over the statement, Shivkumar said, "I did not say the incident of rape was a small incident. Rape is always a big event. I talked about the incidents which happen after rape. My thoughts were not on rape. ''

In a tweet on October 2, Raman Singh said, "In Balrampur, the minor was killed by a minor in Balrampur, but the Congress government was able to suppress the matter instead of giving justice. If there are condolences in Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, the daughter should also come to Chhattisgarh to get justice. Ask for a reply from Bhubesh Baghel? When will the daughter of the state get justice?"
