Mumbai: Uddhav faction leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has received death threats in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After this threat, Raut lodged a complaint with the police station. The person who threatened sent a message to Raut and said that I will make your condition like Moosewala. Raut has also been abused in the message, calling him anti-Hindu. In this case, the Pune Police arrested a suspect last night and handed him over to the Mumbai Police.

The threat, received in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi, said, "If you are found in Delhi, you will be blown up with an AK-47. After this threat, Raut informed the police by writing a letter. The police have started an investigation into this whole matter. In December last year, Raut was threatened with death. He had then claimed that the threat had come from an organisation called Kannada Rakshana Vedika.

A few days ago, Bollywood actor Salman Khan was again threatened by the Lawrence gang. Thereafter, the case was registered, and the Mumbai Police increased his security. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang had earlier also threatened Salman and planned to attack him. And last week, extortion was sought from Utkarsh Agarwal, owner of Lucknow's popular jewellery shop Khun Khun Ji Jewellers, in the name of gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar. A WhatsApp call was received on his number, and the caller demanded Rs 30 lakh.
