Senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on Friday joined former Congress president Rahul Gandhi in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Speaking to reporters, Sanjay Raut made it clear that the thinking of leaders like Kejriwal, Akhilesh, and KCR to compete with the BJP without the Congress in the country is wrong.

He said that Congress is a national party which has a wide reach across the country. There is a sense of acceptance among people for the leadership of Rahul Gandhi across the country. I see Rahul as a leader who raises his voice. Sanjay Raut also made it clear that Shiv Sena will present a claim in the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Let us tell you that the Bharat Jodo Yatra started from Kathua in Jammu today. The Bharat Jodo Yatra being taken out under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi entered Jammu and Kashmir yesterday.

Rahul Gandhi, who became the subject of discussion by saying 'I am not afraid of cold', wore a jacket as soon as he reached Jammu. Earlier he was seen only in a white T-shirt, though he wore warmer cloth inside to beat the cold. At the same time, arrangements have been made for a geyser and water heater in Rahul Gandhi's container (truck) this winter. But, when Rahul Gandhi said, 'You feel cold because you are afraid of cold, I am not afraid of cold, so I do not feel cold'. After this statement, Congress leaders started calling Rahul Gandhi as an ascetic.
