Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut has taunted former CM Devendra Fadnavis after Uddhav Thackeray was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He has quipped about the old statement that Fadnavis's opposition is no longer in existence. Raut wrote on his Twitter handle, 'Heartfelt congratulations to former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on being elected as the opposition party leader, claiming that there will be no opposition in Maharashtra ...!'

According to media reports, during the assembly elections in Maharashtra, Fadnavis was confident of the BJP's big win. During this time, he had said that the BJP will win such that the opposition side will not survive in the state.

Uddhav Thackeray took oath as Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Thursday. With this, Thackeray government started in the economic capital of the country. This is the first time that a member of the Thackeray family is holding the post of Chief Minister. In such a situation, there are many big challenges before Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Apart from this, Fadnavis targeted the Uddhav government's Common Minimum Program. He also spoke through Twitter, 'Mahavikas Aghadi announced its Common Minimum Program, but it is unfortunate that it does not even mention Marathwada, Vidarbha and North Maharashtra. Hopefully, the new government will look into it.
