Mumbai: Politics has started regarding the installation of sound measuring machines in loudspeakers installed in mosques of Karnataka. On the other hand, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on the issue of Azaan from loudspeaker said that the Home Minister of Maharashtra has also issued a notice. In which it has been told that what should be the level of loudspeaker decibels while performing azan.

Let us tell you that earlier MNS chief Raj Thackeray had demanded removal of loudspeakers from mosques in Maharashtra. He had also warned that if the loudspeakers were not removed, Hindus would play Hanuman Chalisa loudly in front of mosques. In fact, Hindu organizations in Karnataka had demanded removal of loudspeakers from the mosque. Thereafter, the government also supported this demand.

However, the government said that work will be done according to the law. After this the Karnataka government issued notices to all the mosques. After which preparations are being made to install sound measuring machines in mosques. In Karnataka, mosques have been sent notices from the police for using the sound of their loudspeakers within the permit decibel level. Such notices have been sent to around 250 mosques in Bengaluru alone. The loudspeakers of all these mosques were found to be louder than the prescribed standard. Now the authorities have started installing such devices in mosques which keep the sound up to the permit level.
