Mumbai: Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar of the Indian cricket team, is desperate to make his IPL debut with the five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winner Mumbai Indians. In the IPL 2021 auction on Thursday, Mumbai Indians bought Arjun for his base price of 20 lakh rupees.

After being bought at the auction, 21-year-old Arjun thanked the coaches for showing confidence in him. Arjun posted a video message on the Twitter handle of Mumbai Indians and said, 'I have been a big fan of Mumbai Indians since childhood. I would like to express my gratitude to the coaches and support staff who showed confidence in me.'

Arjun Tendulkar further said, "I am thrilled to join the Mumbai Indians team and can't wait to wear blue and golden jerseys." Arjun Tendulkar has been congratulated by his sister Sara Tendulkar on this achievement. Sara has shared a photo with Arjun in her Instagram Story. Sara wrote in her message congratulating Arjun, no one can take this achievement away from you. This is yours, proud of you.
