Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, stars of 'Sex and the City,' have responded to sexual assault allegations levied against their longtime co-star Chris Noth.

"We are heartbroken to learn about the allegations made against Chris Noth. We stand behind the ladies who have spoken up about their traumatic experiences. We recognise that it must be a difficult task, and we applaud them for it "In a joint statement posted on Nixon and Parker's Instagram profiles, the three stars, who also feature in 'And Just Like That,' stated.

Their reaction came only hours after Noth was fired from 'The Equalizer,' a crime thriller series. Two women approached The Hollywood Reporter months apart with sexual assault charges against Noth, each requesting.

The Hollywood Reporter said that 'Zoe,' who works in the entertainment sector and is alleging rape, was assaulted in Los Angeles in 2004. 'Lily,' a journalist, claimed that Noth assaulted her in New York City in 2015. Pseudonyms were employed by the two women. The charges, according to Noth, are "categorically untrue."

"The allegations made against me by people I met years, if not decades ago are categorically false," he stated in a statement. "No means no, and that is a boundary I did not cross. These events may have happened 30 years ago or 30 days ago. The interactions were mutually beneficial. It's tough not to be suspicious of the timing of these reports. I'm not sure why they're appearing now, but one thing is certain: I did not abuse these ladies."

The Daily Beast reported on December 17 that Noth had been accused of abuse by a third woman in 2010. "Chris has no awareness of who this man is," stated Noth's representative.
