There is some good news for job searchers who are preparing for a career in the police force. The Punjab Police Department has released a job notice for the posts of Constable and Sub Inspector (SI). Candidates who are interested and eligible for these positions can apply online at punjabpolice.gov.in, the Punjab Police's official website. The deadline for submitting the application is September 29, 2021.

According to the official notice, the Punjab police will fill a total of 2607 vacancies for Constable and SI posts. Out of which 2340 vacancies are available for Constables and 267 vacancies for Sub Inspectors in the Technical and Support Services Cadre. The online application process for the aforesaid posts is ongoing at punjbapolice.gov.in. All aspirants are advised to apply on these posts as soon as possible to avoid the last-minute rush.

To be considered for the above posts, candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field and be between the ages of 18 and 28. Candidates for the above posts will be granted age relaxation. Candidates are urged to read the announcement attentively and complete the online application form according to the guidelines. Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in a computer-based test, a physical measurement test, a physical screening test, and documentation. Candidates who pass the CBT will be invited to the next round of the recruiting process. The selected candidate will get a salary of Rs. 19,900/- for constable posts while 35400 for Sub Inspector Posts.

On the other hand, the Chhattisgarh police have advertised a notification for recruitment to the post of Subedar, Sub Inspector, Platoon Commander. The candidates holding the requisite qualification can apply from 1 October 2021 onwards at cgpolice.gov.in.
