The process to apply online for recruitment of 1371 posts in Maharashtra Postal Circle by the Indian Postal Department has started from October 12, 2020. At the same time, the process of recruitment of 19 Skilled Artisans in Kolkata Mail Motor Service is already going on by the recruitment of 634 Gramin Dak Sevaks in Himachal Postal Circle. Among the posts for which 1371 vacancies have been declared in Maharashtra Postal Department, 1029 posts are for postmen, 327 posts are from Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and 15 posts are from Mailguard. The notification for the recruitment of 1371 posts in Maharashtra Postal Circle was issued on 29 September and the process of online application was to start from 5 October. However, the Maharashtra Postal Circle informed through another notice on Wednesday, 7 October that the process of online application for recruitment to 1371 posts has started from 10 AM on 12 October 2020.

Educational Qualifications:
For Postman and Mailguard - 12th pass from a recognized board. Computer working knowledge. Age limit 18 years to 27 years on 3 November 2020.

For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) posts - 10th pass from a recognized board. Computer working knowledge. Age limit 18 years to 27 years on 3 November 2020.

For Postmen and Mailguards - Pay Matrix Level 3 (Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100)
For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Posts - Pay Matrix Level 1 (Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900)
