New Delhi: Bhim Sena chief Nawab Satpal Tanwar has been arrested by the Delhi Police. The Special Cell on Thursday (June 16, 2022) has nabbed him from his Gurugram home. In fact, Satpal Tanwar had placed a reward of Rs 1 crore for cutting nupur sharma's tongue. At the same time, Satpal had also made lewd remarks about Nupur Sharma. According to media reports, Satpal has been booked under sections 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (insulting a woman) and 153A (promoting enmity between different groups) of the IPC.
Speaking to the media, an official of the cyber unit of the Special Cell said, "We have taken cognizance of his video in which he has made a murderous threat and tried to spread hatred. The Delhi Police's action comes at a time when a case has also been registered against Satpal Tanwar in Gurugram. A complaint has been lodged by bjp wing's Gurugram chief Sarvpriya Tyagi in the matter. Gurugram police have booked Satpal under sections of promoting enmity between different groups, abetting, intentionally insulting and criminal intimidation.
According to another report, a complaint has also been filed against Satpal Tanwar in Kanpur district. The next hearing in the case has been posted on June 24. The plaintiff in the case is Advocate Harsh Kumar. On the basis of this complaint, Satpal has also been booked under serious sections in Kanpur Kotwali. Harsh has stated in his complaint that Satpal had not only said very derogatory words to Nupur Sharma, but satpal has also made a disgrace against PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath.
