Sawan month has started with the end of the month of Aashaadh. One special thing this time of Sawan is that this month has started from Monday 6 July and will end on 3 August Monday. Do this work in the month of spring
The month of Sawan is very dear to Shiva. Therefore, you should worship Lord Shiva during this month. Perform Jalabhishekam of Lord Shiva especially on Sawan Mondays.
- Worshipped the Shivling made of sand regularly. Keep in mind that the height of Shivling made of sand should not exceed 12 fingers.
- Donation of milk during the month of Savan is considered to be good.
- In the month of Savan, if a bull comes in front of your house, then respect it and also give him something to eat.
Do not do this work in the month of spring
- One should not sleep during the day in the month of holy spring. It is a sign of laziness.
- During this time, oil should not be applied on the body.
It is said that brinjal should not be consumed during the month of Savan. Brinjal is classified as impure.
Keep in mind that do not accidentally offer Ketki flowers to Lord Shiva during this time also.
- Avoid offering turmeric on Shivling during worship in the month of Sawan.
- It will also be better to keep the distance from the intake of milk in the month of Sawan.
