Sayak Chakraborty is one of the famous actors of the Bengali TV industry. He is soon going to be seen in the new daily soap, titled Agnishikha. This show will be aired from January 25. Talking about the cas of the show, it will feature Aratrika Maiti and Sourya Bhattacharya in the lead role and Sagnik Ghosh, Sayak Chakraborty, Chandreyee Ghosh and Anindya Chakraborti are also going to play the important roles in the show.

Sayak Chakraborty will be going to play the role of Raktim which is the grey shade character. While talking about his experience of working in the serial, Sayak said that the entire cast and crew are very much supportive. The cast of the show includes both contemporaries and senior actors. He further said, " I am getting a lot to learn from my seniors like Chandreyee di and Arindam da. I am having a great experience and I am also learning how to cook on the sets in between shots and during lunch breaks. I have never tried my hand in making coffee, but now everyone loves the coffee I make on the sets.”

His character in the daily soaps has a lot of layers and he said that he loves to portray roles with grey shades. “Initially, I portrayed mythological characters in a few serials, but in the past few months, I have done both cameos and supporting roles of characters having grey shades in serials like Ami Sirajer Begum, Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni and Kadambini. This is the fourth time I am playing such a character and I am totally loving it. I think playing a role that has many layers is a big challenge for any actor and with each passing day, I am learning something new,” added Sayak.
