New Delhi: The country's largest bank, State Bank of India, periodically issues alerts to protect its consumers from online fraud. State Bank of India is the largest public sector bank in the country. SBI keeps alerting its customers through its official Twitter handle. Once again SBI has urged customers to be careful and cautious.
The State Bank of India tweeted from its official Twitter handle, writing that, "SBI customers are requested to be vigilant on social media and do not get into any misleading and fake messages." The bank further wrote that "We request our customers to beware of fake / misleading messages circulated on social media by SBI."
Apart from this, the bank had also shared a 20-second video clip some time ago and asked customers not to share confidential details online with anyone. SBI tweeted, along with the video, wrote, "Stay alert, stay safe. While interacting with us on social media, check account verification and do not share confidential details online." The video also gave information about the measures to avoid online fraud.
