SC directed petitioner to file suggestions in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case

In connection with the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case, the Supreme court today has directed the petitioner S. Gurland Kahlon to file his suggestions. The Court headed by Justice Dipak Misra asked Mr. Kahlon to file his suggestions in regarding the case and also to sought a report from the Special Investigation Team.

On 24 march is the next date of hearing. Mr. Kahlon earlier who is a member of a Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee has appealed to court seeking an investigation in the case.

The Anti-Sikh riots which broke out after the assassination of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi took the 2,433 lives in Delhi itself.
