Ranchi: The outbreak of corona infection is still prevailing in the country and religious and tourist places in the states are still closed due to the corona epidemic. Devotees are yet to be allowed to visit these places. In view of the increase in daily cases of Corona, the Jharkhand government did not open the Baba Baidyanath temple even in the month of Shravan for devotees.

Some religious organizations approached the Supreme Court demanding the opening of Baidyanath temple and Vasukinath temple against the same government's decision. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the organizations. The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to hear the matter. The Supreme Court categorically refused to hear the demand for the opening of temples at the earliest.

Chief Justice NV Raman said the matter will be heard on the prescribed date under the procedure. It is not necessary to hear it immediately. Let me tell you that the menace of the corona epidemic is still continuing in the country, so the restrictions are still continuing in many States, and to deal with it, it is necessary that we protect ourselves and follow all the rules. In crowded places, compulsorily wear masks and also take care of the social distancing.
