Some religious organizations approached the Supreme Court demanding the opening of Baidyanath temple and Vasukinath temple against the same government's decision. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the organizations. The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to hear the matter. The Supreme Court categorically refused to hear the demand for the opening of temples at the earliest.

Chief Justice NV Raman said the matter will be heard on the prescribed date under the procedure. It is not necessary to hear it immediately.
