Aligarh: It is raining continuously in many cities in UP. Aligarh District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh has ordered the closure of schools for classes 1 to 12 due to rain for two days. According to the instructions of Aligarh District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh, all schools in the district will remain closed for the next two days i.e. on October 10 and 11.

District Inspector of Schools Manoj Kumar said that the district has been receiving continuous rains for 72 hours, due to which there is a possibility of waterlogging. At the same time, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there will be rain till October 11. On the instructions of the District Magistrate, there will be a holiday on October 10 and 11 in all the aided and recognized schools of all boards from class nursery to 12th.

At the same time, all school principals and operators have been asked to ensure strict compliance with orders in the district. In view of the continuous rains in Meerut, a holiday has been declared in schools on October 10. Apart from this, due to continuous rains in Hapur, the DM has instructed to close the schools from nursery to inter. With this, a holiday has been declared for all government and non-government schools from class 1 to 8 in Farrukhabad on Monday, October 10. In Kanpur, the DM has instructed to close all schools from classes 1 to 12 on Monday. In Lucknow, instructions have been given to keep schools up to class 12 closed. Apart from this, educational institutions in Rampur have been ordered to be closed.
