Lucknow: Classes in secondary schools in Uttar Pradesh will start functioning with half the capacity from August 16. All higher educational institutions will start conducting classes from September 1. The decision was taken at a team 9 meeting held on Monday. CM Yogi Adityanath has directed all educational institutions to prepare to start new sessions in view of the controlled condition of corona infection.
Addressing a meeting held on Monday, CM Yogi said that the results of high school and intermediate of all boards have been declared. In such a case, the process of admission at graduation level should be started from 5th August. Instructions have also been issued to start the process of admission of students who have been promoted to the next class in secondary educational institutions. He said that the classes of these students should start from the date of Independence Day.
CM Yogi said that on Independence Day, the event should be organized by linking it with "Amrut Mahotsav of Freedom". Reading should be started with half the capacity from 16th August. On the other hand, instructions were issued to start reading in higher educational institutions from 1st September in all cases. He was directed to start teaching under the Covid Protocol in educational institutions. He said sanitizers, infrared thermometers, and masks should be arranged in educational institutions.
