Two Jammu and Kashmir police personnel have been injured in the attack. The injured Jawans were identified as Abdul Aziz and Ali Mohamed. The two injured jawans have been shifted to the District hospital in Sopore for treatment. Where the condition of both remains serious.

A joint team of security forces has launched a search operation in search of grenade attack terrorists. According to sources, active other militants have been badly injured in the valley following the death of four terrorists in an encounter in Pulwama on Friday morning. The militants were attacked by hand grenades at Sopore police station on Friday afternoon to retrieve their own bonds.
