New Delhi: Corona's new variant 'Omicron' has created a nationwide hue and cry, meanwhile, a big news is emerging that another case of 'Omicron' has been reported in Delhi. The genome sequencing report of people from Zimbabwe has come out omicron positive. South Africa is also said to be involved in the individual's travel history. With this, 33 persons have been hit by the new corona variant in India so far. Out of the persons from abroad in Delhi, 27 people were found infected with corona. The samples were sent for genome sequencing. So far, the report of 25 persons has come negative. While two persons have been found to be omicron positive.

So far, 33 cases of omicrons have been reported in the same India. The highest number of cases were reported in Maharashtra, 9 in Rajasthan, 3 in Gujarat, 2 in Delhi and two in Karnataka. It is a matter of relief that the reports of all the 9 persons in Rajasthan have come out negative. The patient's report has also come out negative in Pune, Maharashtra. On the other hand, an omicron patient from Karnataka has fled to Dubai.

Nine cases of omicrons were reported in the country on Friday. Out of these, 7 cases were reported in Maharashtra and 2 in Jamnagar in Gujarat. In maharashtra, three cases have been reported in Mumbai and 4 cases have been found in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The infected patients found in Mumbai are 48, 25 and 37 years old. The three citizens come from Tanzania, UK and South African countries. While the four cases found in Pimpri Chinchwad had come in contact with the Nigerian woman.
