Budgam: Security forces killed two terrorist in a fierce encounter that broke out in Sustu village of Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday. Internet services have been snapped in the area.

Accprdinh to the reports, the encounter broke out in the wee hours in underway. Security forces said, “Two to three terrorists were believed to be holed up in the area, security forces have said. The area has been cordoned off as the operation is underway. Four Army jawans belonging to 50 Rashtriya Rifles have also been injured in the encounter.”

Earlier, on Thursday, security forces gunned down three terrorists in a fierce operation that broke out between terrorists and security forces in Keller area of Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district. Central Reserve Police Force, Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police carried out the join operations.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the terrorists killed in the encounter were identified as Sajad Khanday, Aqib Ahmad Dar and Basharat Ahmad Mir, all residents of Pulwama. It was a combined group of terror outfits Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
