Serena willaims now owns more victories in grand slam than any other tennis player,surpassing even Roger Federer.

She gained this title after her 308th victory defeating Kazakhstan's Yaroslava in US open on monday. Williams very first win at the grand slam was way back when she was 16 years old .she won against Irina Spirlea in 1998.willaims first loss at a major tournament came in next match,which she played against her elder sister Venus Williams.

Federer turned 35 on August 8. Williams turns 35 on September 26. “I definitely never thought I would be playing still,” Williams said. “Now I don’t really see when I’m going to stop, because I’m just enjoying these moments out here, getting to break records that I didn’t even know existed or I didn’t even know was possible",says Serena.

“I just feel like I’m going out there, doing what I need to do,” Williams said. “I’m not overplaying, I’m not underplaying.” Serena

Williams sure seems like she's playing at the top of her game.With every smashing victory she's only assuring her fans that there's more to come.
